Classroom Visits
- Lizzie will work with any budget. Many times schools don’t have the budget for something like this and she wants to create the love of books in children just like she was shown.
- She would prefer one age group at a time.
- The visit will look like (usually lasts 20-30 minutes):
- Reading of The Emotional Bus is Struggling.
- Answering any questions the children may have.
- Each child will receive a little bag filled with an order form, coloring page, sticker/book mark of The Emotional Bus, and a sweet treat.
- In the future: working with the teacher to complete a Writer’s Workshop about the children’s emotions. She will walk around and try to talk with every student in the classroom.
- She would love to come and visit the school more than once so she can visit multiple classrooms/grade levels.

“It may feel uncomfortable and make you sad to struggle, but the feeling will always pass. Don’t forget to take deep breaths, think, make a plan, or practice. But remember, everyone struggles at some point- and if it doesn’t work the first time- that’s okay!” – E.B., The Emotional Bus is Struggling
